Produced as one component in Rovigo’s new communication plan for Local Health Unit Ulss, this short film explores the labor and tragedy of those handling emergencies on a daily basis. The film shows viewers an emergency room situation in which a patient’s life depends on the professionalism of the doctors and nurses on call and timing of surgical intervention.

This project, produced in collaboration with Rovigo’s Local Health Unit Ulss 18, recounts the journey of a cancer patient from prevention through rehabilitation. The guide presents the most common cancer cases, described in a clear and simple manner, and emphasizes prevention, diagnosis, psychological support and the Local Health Unit’s approach to rehabilitation. The guide’s video counterpart, intended to represent everyday life rather than rhetoric or metaphors, uses the daily gestures of doctors and patients as a starting point, and is designed as a journey through the hospital’s Oncology Department

Mechanè is mechanical, everything that human talent has created to improve and increase the quality of life. The short film follows the daily work of doctors, technicians and nurses, each demonstrating professionalism and devotion as they continually engage with the reality of death and the joy of renewing life.
